jeff ranieri joins us with more on the conditions in san diego county and the dangerous heat we have here in the bay area as well. >> as we have been talking about, all of these fires north of san diego. carlsbad, san marcos, 90,000 acres have been burned. 17 helicopters are fighting this as the winds gust at 60 miles an hour. the forecast tomorrow is key. we are looking at thursday santa ana winds calming down. we will have low humidity of 8 to 20%. but the winds will be 15 to 20 miles an hour and temperatures will be hot, 85 to 95 degrees. by saturday for the san diego area we will see a 20-degree drop in temperatures with a cooler ocean wind returning. but another tough day at least for tomorrow. meanwhile across the bay area it has been hot. the fire danger is up. the humidity values in the single digits for us. one of the hottest, morgan hill at 102. dublin, 100 today. here's the thing. for tomorrow, the cooling is going to begin. check out palo alto. 64 at 6:00 a.m. then throughout 9:00 a.m., 70s and by 3:00 p.m. we are expecting upper 80s across palo alto. there is some of the
