we are in the san fernando valley right now and officials here in los angeles tell us that they are tracking in data closely. they know that the virus is spiking here in the san fernando valley which is why they're going to be opening up another testing facility later on this morning that can test some 3,000 people of course, dodgers stadium, the largest testing facility in the entire country, has expanded hours. they are trying to increase the amount of testing they can do. at this point it's 13,000 a day. the state believes that this is the key to trying to stop the surge here now, in addition to testing, they've also put statewide restrictions in place. the counties that are seeing the highest number of coronavirus cases, those facilities that are nonessential are being asked to close by 10:00 p.m people are being told to stay home and in los angeles county starting wednesday evening they are restricting outdoor dining, telling restaurants that it's takeout only of course, that is going to be a challenge for many of these restaurants that have been struggling to survive throughout the pan
