san jose is at 55, 53 in oakland and concord. we are normally in the 40s and that is not the case this morning. afternoon highs will be above average but they are close to normal. fran, mid-60s is normal. low 70s in oakland. san jose at 78 and concord is expected to reach 80. free mont is expected to reach 74, mountain view, 72. the beaches will be in the low 60s and upper 50s, normal for a lot of the beaches. there is a swell is in the northeast, in humboldt county area. what we are watching is this low. it is contributing to our temperatures starting to cool off. the ridge of high pressure that was attacking things over the weekend and kept things warm is weakening. this is going to start to enter our area. when it does, it will bring us a slim chance of rain for the north bay. for now, we will notice today, tomorrow, the same story. we will wake up to low clouds along the coastline and then things will burn off. here we are tonight with clouds returning for most of us. we will wake up to a foggy start tomorrow and a lot of that will burn off by the lunch hour or so. pretty much mostly sunny afternoons for most of us. friday, saturday, that's when the low will rea

i've lived in san francisco for about five years and i've lived in visitacion valley for about six or seven months, and fran was the first person i met there, and she immediately introduced me to the visitacion valley greenway and i was just blown away because it was an amazing space, and i've really fallen in love with the area since then, and i've done a lot of exploring, walking through mclaren park and having explored this space where this site is up for debate, i see potential for a project that would stimulate more growth in the community, similar to what the greenway has done, which fran has organized and supports along with many others. and i see potential for something that would feed the community, including a garden and these sorts of things that are actually going to engage the citizens instead of, nothing against housing, but i just don't see what it's going to bring to the community, what it's going to introduce to the community, as opposed to creating a structure that will create shade and basically form a wedge in the structure of this very, very important and very delicate community that ne
