and i'm a first generation san franciscan born resident, married, two children. i am in favor of this project. when my parents immigrated from mexico, this was the american dream. we settled in san francisco after traveling to the east coast. we came here and loved it and stayed here and my parents have raised six children in san francisco. we are educated in san francisco and played in all the park new york stock exchange in san francisco. as i entered the city, all i have seen is housing and i think the housing take more precedent on the agenda for this city. i'm being priced out of san francisco. a bmr is a possibility for me to stay stay , work and live in the city. it's important for the housing to be there for us to live and to thrive. i think the buildings could be on the hook for $140,000 in property taxes and a sizeable donation to the parks department. i don't see any -- just following the logic of this project, it's better than most that i have seen out there, and thank you for your time. >> thank you. >> next speaker. >> commissioners, my name is charl

it is for those san franciscans that the city is becoming less affordable.you know, i was as the hearing the meeting was proceeding i got a text from my husband who gave me the good news that our heater had been fixed. and try living without heat in san francisco in this weather for the last few days. but the fact is that we are lucky that we have a roof over our head. there are so many people that don't have in the city of st. francis a place to sleep. can you imagine surviving on the streets of san francisco? when we know it's cold in the chamber let alone how it is outside. have a great deal of work to do and i think that we as a board have a responsibility to make sure that when we talk about prosperity that we talk about prosperity that includes all of us. not a prosperity that is a prosperity that is leading the vast majority of people behind. that is the prosperity that we have in san francisco today. i will end with a great deal of gratitude to my staff because i think that they deserve the credit for all the amazing work that we have done. i know th

we used the local hire ordinance to the definition of what is local and san franciscans getting jobs for as a good example considered local so in the final copy you now see the numbers broken up and all the projects broken up into regional, local positions that we can count on san franciscans getting a job for and the broader base staff, like there is stuff in southern california that clearly san franciscans wouldn't see the economic benefits of that but it's still a project that could have potential. the thing to keep in mind and they're clear in the report on this we're saying we're going -- we're not saying we're going to build all of them and cost prohibitive to do but 10 years down the road you might be building and they're not all launched on day one and get thousands of jobs created. it's going to get to some time to that creation and there were some things. there were other stuff requested and change of clarifications done to clean up the stuff, make sure everything was copesettic throughout the report and i think they did a very good job and show where it is now and took --
