estimates the rates of insurance and uninsurance, these data show that approximately 84 thousand san franciscans are uninsured, 60 thousand aof these are enrolled specifically designed to protect the unschroeder, healthy san francisco was created in 2007 to coordinate care for san franciscan's uninsured, this is by the department of public health as well as clinic, hospitals and physicians across the city, more than 50 thousand participants have access to more than 37 health care homes and they are provided with specialty services, pharmacy services, primary care services and more. sf task is a program that began, sf path is similar to san francisco but it's available to those people who will be available for medi cal come january 1, 2014. the current 10 thousand enrollees were enrolled, they will be all the nautically enrolled in medi cal in january where the sf path program will end. these two programs, healthy san francisco and sf path have put san francisco well ahead of the health reform implementation curve compared to other states in the nation, healthy san francisco was created in 2007 a

mark third generation san franciscan. there are a few positive elements to the project one is the line that be with expanded for 5 shopping centers but the effectiveness is that the pedestrians it it for them or the buses themselves. it seems like it will speed up the buses case in the let's take the 2819th avenue bus line one is for you - currently you walk 3 blocks and wait for a bus. under the t p you have to walk an additional long block then while waiting on 19th after the closest stop the 28 passes you bye so how will that effect getting to your destination quicker. furthermore, eliminating stops doesn't suspend service that much. let's say you have 10 pedestrians at one stop and another stop that's going to be eliminated. at one stop it takes time for those 20 people to board the bus under the t e p you have the same people board at one stop. it basically takes the same amount of time. i grant you it does take a little bit more time but is that time savings worth eliminating the stop for passengers who have to walk

and san franciscans are getting back to work. in fact, our unemployment rate has dropped, as you all know, from 9.5% in january of 2011 to an astounding 5.4% just last month. (applause) >> i know, i know it has -- it has not been easy. we've had to work hard with our health services system, our care -- our health care providers, and labor to reduce employee health care costs. and because of our collaboration, we will now save $52 million over the next two years. and we've made tough but necessary choices on everything from escalating pension costs to reforming our unfair job punishing business tax. we've injected a healthy dose of fiscal discipline with two-year budgeting, five-year financial planning, and a 10-year capital plan to get to us this point. but it's been worth it. san francisco's credit ratings have been upgraded by every rating agency in the past year, making our tax dollars go further when we deliver capital projects, and giving our city even more investor confidence. so, now it is not the time to take our eyes off
