in 2008, almost 84 percent of city of san francisco voted a bond to rebuild san francisco general. it's a testament to how much they have helped and we did not have all the funds needed to build a world class hospital and supply it with world class fixtures and equipment. bond funds cannot be used for that. the city has committed $175 million through our own capital improvement fund but there was $65 million need and through work of mayor lee and san francisco giants has tried to work to fill. so this contribution from dr. chan and mr. zuckerberg, it's truly amazing and they have heard our cries for support and they have so gratefully provided this gift to the city. this gift will compliment the city's investment and specifically their gift will purchase psychological monitors to improve the tracking of patients vital signs and provide earlier detection of deteriorating condition and also purchase ir equipment to help dying and treating the lease invasive state of the art technique. it will equip 18 groups and decrease the time a person spends in the emergency department and reduce

i am representing the physicians of san francisco, i am being appointed by the san francisco medical society. i also am a former president of the san francisco medical society from 7 years ago but currently serve on the board of the medical society as well as their executive board. serving on the san francisco health plan, though, has been an extraordinary experience in part because of the incredible competence of mr. john gurgina, the head, as well as the passion and commitment of the other board members. it's all of us are passionate about really trying to deliver the best medicine we can to an underserved population and to a previously medically uninsured population which thanks to the affordable care act is rapidly disappearing. that's been a really gratifying thing to see. but we do have challenges, some challenges we are confronting is how to grow, we have doubled our membership our member from 65,000 to 130,000 just since june in 20011. we have increasing requirements imposed upon us by the state regarding our reserves. our reserves are approximately $60,000 and that's a multi

she was a proud native of san francisco. fanny, she was born in 1915 and grew up in the fillmore district. and in the russian neighborhood. sandy met her future husband a new york native on muni. they were married on june 1, 941. they lived on webster until richmond in a home built by her father. they lived there happily only half block from golden gate block and a mile from the golden gate bridge for their lives. sandy was part of the community activities and a member of the sister god sisterhood and a member of the san francisco chapter where she served as treasurer. she worked at the memorial blood count bank and she and bob worked at the scene -- senior center. she lived a long century of a life from 1915-2015 among loving family and friends here in the most beautiful city in the world. although she will be deeply missed she couldn't have asked for more than living in this great city. thanks to her family for raising attention to her life. the rest i will submit. city clerk: thank you, supervisor mar. supervisors tanning
