this agenda item number six is the san francisco arts commission gallery's winter 2025 exhibition discussion. and we have a presentation of the upcoming winter 2025 exhibition in the san francisco arts commission main gallery. and i'm now introducing the director of galleries and public programs, carolina aranibar fernandez, who will make her presentation. thank you. good afternoon, commissioners. happy friday. i'll be presenting the artist of our upcoming exhibition, winter 2025 at the main gallery. in june, i presented the curator of our art of our upcoming exhibitions, and i'm thrilled to present the artist for our first exhibition in 2025. ceremonies. the exhibition is inspired by the writing of writer, editor and activist essex hemphill. hemphill is best known for his deeply uncompromising writing on their interactions of race and sexuality, informed by his experience as an open, openly gay, black man. the works in the exhibition explore the inner world of queer desire, kingship, romance and possibility. where we're missing some slides, but carry one of the artists is carrie johnson. ri

san francisco international airport is celebrating latino filmmakers from the bay area with a series of free screenings. it's a collaboration between the san francisco film commission, the san francisco public library and sfo video artsenings of the four films started this week and will run through the middle of october to coincide with latino heritage month. these are hosted in sfo gallery space, which organizers say anyone can access. >> it's right outside the screening area in international terminal, and if you take bart, it's actually really accessible because when you exit bart, you will actually see it right there. so you know, these short films will be running continuously. so you can take a little break, get to the airport early and stop by and see one of the films. >> sfo is the only airport in the country with an accredited museum and film program. >> our hot spell is about to come to an end. we do have a cooldown in store for the weekend outside our doors at this hour. seeing a little bit more fog drift into the city and our temperatures are running a few degrees cooler compared to yesterday at this time. a nice look there at the golden gate bridge, the marin headlands and you can see some of that fog that
