san francisco national historic -- san francisco national maritime historic park. more than simply spectator venues they provide over 16 million visitors annually from near and far an opportunity to enjoy the natural scenic, cultural resources of the bay area. from frequent daily visitors, residents from san francisco running or biking or the aquatic park to the out of town visitor who takes their first trip to alcatraz island. our mission can be simply stated. it is important because that is the lens through which we see it. preserve park resources and values. we want to recognize first that the city staff worked hard on getting this document out in a short time frame, given the construction schedules necessary. we have worked in providing extensive scoping comments and have worked with them with the rest of the staff to look at mutual solutions, and at the present time in the document some of those solutions have not been addressed and some of the commitments and mitt gailingses are not there. they are deferred to the people and park plans. we recognize that they may have been developed post when that plan went to draft. but without that level of detail and a lack of commitments on some of those mitigations it is difficult to judge

bay. so this is what you need to know overnight. temperatures drop between 54 and 57. and tomorrow our numbers will remain unseasonably cool, below average. 59 in san francisco. 72 degrees in san josi. in fact, your overnight low temperatures mid 50s in oakland across the bay to mountain view. 54 degrees in liver more. now, there are three things i want you to take with you on your thursday first off tonight a deep enning marine layer which leads to friday and saturday's unseasonably cool temperature but it will get warmer over the weekend. let's start off with the marine layer and there you have the thursday. that marine layer is so deep you will have some condensation in the form of drizzle. but notice it just lurks around the san mateo area all day long with second point, again, all that is going to make a big dent in your temperature. 54 is the high in pacifica. the eastern portion of our district everybody is under 80 degrees. a pair of 7s in brentwood. a westwood 15-20 in the northern half of our area. the average high is actually 83 degrees. the forecast calls for two unseasonably cold days but as previously noted it will be warmer over the weekend. in fact, it w

san andreas fault. also, the excavation of two large tunnels. one on the east bay, one on san francisco bay.suing rapidly, we have a full use of a number of key facilities that are adding seismic liabilities and separation of flexibility is. just two examples here. we have a new treatment facility, the largest in california that is operating. with so much work currently in the field, there are challenges that are typical of a large, infrastructure program. unforeseen conditions is something that we encounter a lot. we can make some assumptions as to the typical conditions that you will encounter. often in the field these conditions, previously assumed as changes, are very hard to control. project sizes that may lead to changes. much of the designs are based on documents coming from the early 1900's. that is an extra challenge. we have encountered new regulatory requirements during construction. storm water management, for example. we need to adjust our documents. with some of our contract documents, including these thousands of pages in the investigation, it is almost impossible to have them
