anywhere from fremont to san francisco. nbc bay area's pete serratos is at fremont pd tonight. what do we know at this point? reporter yeah, well, we just got that update within the past hour right behind me here at fremont pd. and they tell us that they are still searching for three year old ellie lorenzo. now, here are some pictures that we got from the family earlier this evening of three year old ellie. but here's where fremont pd told us not too long ago. they said that ellie's mom called them around 12:30 p.m. today to do a welfare check at the casa arroyo apartments here in fremont. that's where ellie's father lives now. ellie was supposed to return to her today. to the mother today as a part of the custody agreement with the father. but the mom says that she was notified today. that that father, the father was found dead in san francisco. so ellie's whereabouts are unknown. now, i did get a chance to speak with that mom this evening. obviously, you saw a clip there for her being very emotional about all of this, but here she is making a plea for help to find her three y
