this is a first, also, in my time, doing budgets in san francisco. and for the next year, they are asking for only a 1% reduction to our general fund support in the amount of $473000. as always, the budget instructions require the department to absorb revenue corrections or non-salary cost increases. the $350,000 in revenue corrections that i am showing here include the change to the gleneagle's golf course lease approved this year and small changes to golden gate concession revenue, re-deucing camp mather revenue as far as the strawberry music festival is held there and changes to the coit tower concessions. $150,000 include a 2.85% and the golf course lease which requires the department to assume the cost of utilitiesing including half of the water starting this fiscal year. i do think this figure will change over next several weeks as we get more salary/non-salary cost information, including the outlook for tpc. the mayor's budget instructions also include a new initiate for fiscal year 15-16. the mayor is inviting departments to participate in a n

. >> reporter: a couple of months ago that san francisco thanks to budget cuts and a convoluted buyingd one a crisis with paramedics and the number of ambulances it had. the result was that some people were having to wait up to an hour for an ambulance on a nonemergency call that should have been there in 10 minutes. today the chief thanks to moves by the mayor got two new ambulances and she was very happy about it. here's what she had to say. >> i think we're in much better shape than we have been recently. with the economy being restored, hopefully we're hoping for more favorable increases to our fleet. >> reporter: now, some firefighters tell us that we're still lagging as far as paramedics go and the chief said that's true but they hope to get more on board. let's not forget also that this led to a vote of no confidence by the rank-and-file and by some of the fellow chiefs which puts the chief in hot water and also the mayor in hot water. and it's an election year. so i think that we are going to be seeing more changes in the months to come, as well. and more ambulances and more pa

utilities commission's adopted fiscal year 2015-16 annual operating budget for the enterprises under the jurisdiction of the san francisco public utilities commission. >> just so you know before we start, we are requesting some additions to the 2 year budget which will have to go to the board of supervisors for approval but miss lee will explain what those are and they're very focused in request. >> thank you. yeah i will introduce the budgetary adjustments to the sfpuc's adopted fiscal year 2016 annual operating budget and this mid-cycle review. so the commission approved a budget for fiscal years 2015 and 2016. the adopted budget for the 3 enterprises is 988.98 million dollars. the first adjustment to this budget is the mou adjustment made by the controller's office to reflect reduced retirement rates and fringes. after evaluating and rejecting many budgetary adjusting requests, there is only one proposed adjustment presented to you now and this request is half a million dollars for new services installation and the water enterprise to purchase two vocs along with 5 project-funded (inaudible) this half million increase
