it is a 42-year-old business in san francisco. we are a bar with a large beer garden and kitchen. eitgeist is a historic legacy business within san francisco within the registry. over the past 30 years, we have had a long history of posting performance events from live music to film screening dj's and other m.c. events during the 80s and nineties. it was a popular place like monks the punk scene during that time. moving forward we have hosted a number of live music events. most recently, we hosted the official tamale lady day celebration on june 23rd, celebrating virginia ramos' life bands played during a saturday afternoon and it culminated with a screening of a documentary about her life. each time we hosted events we have been diligent in obtaining the proper permits from the entertainment commission, staffing events to make sure the safety of our clientele is maintained and informing all neighbors with adequate notice and manager contact information and having managers present to handle issues during the event. with the limited live performance permit, we intend to continue the
