some of you may have seen the recent articles in the "san francisco "chronicle"" about an individual named tyson fielser. tyson had been in san francisco and had lost contact with his family for years. and they didn't know where he was. finally they were able to reconnect with him a few months ago here in san francisco. and it seemed at the time that this was going to be a story of healing and of reconnection and rehabilitation. he left with his family to the midwest and ultimately earlier this month took a bus back to san francisco and last week tragically overdosed on the streets of the tenderloin and died. this situation of people dying on our streets without any sort of emergency response is one that without a doubt that i hope that we can admits at a crisis level that deserves and needs an emergency response much greater than we are seeing now. i have spoken to firefighters and e.m.t.s and street outreach workers and they're all completely shocked at the failure of urgent action on our streets that will save lives. so i know that this is something that i have talked a lot about a
