a san francisco city san francisco city commissioner is in jail tonight accused of assault. san francisco police say william palmer, the second was arrested thursday palmer is accused of a series of charges including sot, i mean, assault and battery. police say stems from an alleged assault in august. palmer is a member of the san francisco sheriff's department oversight board. palmer was also currently incarcerated and is an advocate for criminal justice reform. in response to the arrest supervisor, aaron peskin is asking palmer to resign, saying that he will be taking the necessary steps to remove him. the investigation remains open tonight. anyone with any information is being asked to call san francisco police. the coma police department is asking for the community's help in identifying 6 people in connection to a retail take a look at your screen here. police say the suspects stole more than $6,000 worth of merchandise from a business on coma boulevard that that's happening earlier this month. investigators say the group is seen driving away in a white lexus and a silve
