the winds pick up. looking at san francisco city hall there and the winds at the lower elevations still fairly light. the higher elevations, they're gusting about 30 miles per hour. san francisco, 54 right now. low 50s, 55 in san jose. the flag isn't even blowing in the wind right now. 48 fairfield, napa in the upper 40s, livermore 41 degrees. emeryville you still have good visibility. the forecast, gusty winds tonight increased fire danger. we're looking at windy and bright conditions saturday through early sunday. winds will ease through that sunday afternoon. there's a slight chance of showers middle of next week. hour by hour wind forecast 11:00 tonight those gusty winds continuing 31 to 34 miles per hour. the strongest winds in the wee hour of the morning picking up to 40 miles per hour in fairfield. remaining that way saturday morning. notice that direction out of the north-northeast. this is a very drying wind. saturday night it's still going around 11:00. with that wind continuing to dry out the air, the fire danger will be running high. so please be vigilant as we head into the weekend. rela
