the pride parade is one of san francisco's signature events. now the san francisco examiner is reporting that nick bovas, the man who ran lefty o'douls was billed $1,250 for london breed's float in the pride parade, when breed was still a supervisor. the mayor's office is saying at this point, there is no indication that bovas ever paid the money, and even if he did, the money never went to promote the mayor, instead it was used to promote the pride event. taking part of the pride parade is a governmental purpose, so any request for funds would have been subject to what are nobody as behested payment rules. a standard process for donations for events like these. the amount suggested on this invoice, would be under the behested payment threshold in place at the time. now supervisor matt haney is asking the city it to investigate. >> i think in order to restore the public trust, to make sure the public knows that officials here are are acting with integrity, are following the law, we have to have a full public airing and investigation, and the results should be shared with the

the san francisco examiner reports oakland assembly member has introduced legislation signaling his intent to write a bill and the language and timeline will remain unclear. rtys might call for bus only lanes on the oakland approaches to the bay bridge where bus traffic is the heaviest. >>> it's kind of fun to be able to take a look at hi-def doppler and see rain. technically you can say it's raining in northern california. the only issue is it will not get into the bay area. hi-def doppler shows there's plenty of green on the central valley, just like so close you can almost reach over and touch it but it will not adhere. it will sit there and fall apart. in fact i will switch this from what life hi-def doppler has to say and put it into futurecast and the showers that are over there pretty much fall apart over the next few hours. just our lot in life this winter. that was a storm that had really bad aim and came down off the coast and will not do much for us. in fact we've got some clouds out there this morning but for the most part there are a lot of reporting stations say it is clear.
