next week i know that some of my contacts at the san francisco foundation are meeting with other foundations down in los angeles. some of those foundations are organizations that we've been waiting for replies on. so it's not necessarily the answer is, no, it just takes a while to go through the process. so i really don't want to stop the work. so we really have been working hard to engage funders and explore all avenues. and i welcome any ideas. so assuming that we do get the funding, we are pretty much on target with our goals and timelines. phase two of the survey will begin next week and then phase three which allows for a robust review and feedback process begins in february. and phase three, the final report and presentation, we hope that will come out in may 2020. that's the latest on that and i'm happy to answer any questions. >> chair fewer: yes, commissioner. >> and someone who just left the role of doing non-profit work and i understand how difficult it can be. and we can do process later but if there's a list or anything that you have of all of the foundations that you have appli

partners lake city community development, thank you, dignity health, the san francisco foundation, just recently the betty ferguson foundation, and tipping point communities. we can't do this work without all of those partners, and that -- we have been able to over the last two years deploy $100 million to enable the preservation and construction of 417 permanently affordable deals -- permanently affordable units. a very complicated transaction, but like this one at the barcelona apartment projects that are way too important to walk away from. to keep it critical, we are working with the mayor to raise $50 million more in philanthropic and mission aligned capital so when nonprofit developers like tndc and the city need a trusted partner for the comp looks project like this, we can continue to stand at the ready. thank you. my name is lena and i am the executive director of the korean-american community foundation of san francisco. we are a philanthropic organization. we are a very young organization , five years old, but we have just repeated approximately $1.1 million to the korean american community to address some of the vital needs that we have, including domestic violence, mental health, senior care, and youth empowerment. we have one of the highest rates of suicide amongst the korean americans, and right now, in san francisco and in the bay area, there is no domestic violence language specific service, so these are some of the issues that we are addressing as a community, but i come here today not as an executive director, but as another korean-american. i came here when i was about four years old and i was an immigrant at that time. since then, i have grown and experience the korean-american experience in the u.s. i am one of 80,000 korean americans in the bay area, 90,000, actually, about 500,000 korean americans in california and 1.7 million korean-american people in the united states. so i come here

with tech companies, where you've learned about coding, a partnership with architectural foundation san franciscoe youth also learned about architectural software design, and various sfpd units and administrative duties which included our passwords division, our academy training division, the information technology division , as well as other administrative functions. there was also youth community academy that was held one day a week for six weeks. in this academy, you the learned about their rights, about school resources and officer duties, community policing, first aid, the department of emergency management, implicit bias, forced options, tactical demonstration, and there was a chief's roundtable held, as well. this program involved 20 hours a week committed by the youth, and youth were recruited from the san francisco unified school districts throughout the high school -- high schools throughout the city. there are 37 heisel youth that participated. twenty-five males, -- there were 37 high school youth that participated. also from june until july, the youth participated in youth career acad
