as for other injuries we turn to san francisco giants pitcher madison bumgarner. star pitcher is out four to six weeks after breaking a bone in his pinkie finger friday in a spring training game. saturday madbum had surgery on his throwing hand. doctors inserted three pins into his pinkie to stabalize the bone that was broken. the area that we're talking about is the lower part of the pinkie that connects to his hand. this is the second year in a row that bumgarner has gotten hurt. last year he fell off a dirt bike. it's believed he'll be back sometime in june. he won't be able to throw until those pins are out.
