the san francisco giants are headed to napa. the giants fanfest tour makes its first stop at the napa yard beer garden, right across the street from the oxbow market this saturday. after that, the event will make its way down to san jose and sacramento before finishing at san francisco's oracle park in march for the team's open house event. during the fanfest tour, current and former giants players, broadcasters, and of course, lucille will be there meeting fans. you can reserve free tickets to the event online. >> well, no word, no rain drops to worry about this weekend. you get outside, but still some cold temperatures, especially for the morning hours. we actually cooled off a bit today. you can see the temperatures in the 50s and the lower 60s. so this this pattern wants to stick around into the weekend and into next week. quick update on the conditions around moss landing with that fire. as far as the wind reports. and right now, all the stations showing you a calm wind or just generally a light wind, so light and variable

others case some years back, san francisco tech giant salesforce did an internal audit and also found women being paid less than men for the same jobs. they set aside several million dollars to make up the difference. jessica. okay. thank you very much, scott. south bay pet owners who are struggling to get by are getting help from a program that just reached a milestone. the humane society of silicon valley's pet pantry program served its one millionth meal to some four-legged friends at park villas in san jose. pet pantry serves up to 30,000 meals a month, and it provides free food and pet supplies to low or no income pet owners. animals are really part of the family unit, and what we find is that people often have to choose between feeding their pets and feeding themselves. so our pet pantry program is exists so that people don't have to make that choice. humane society of silicon valley also has a mobile unit, so it's able to provide spay neuter and low cost vaccines to animals. some of the services, including dog traing classes, are free, which is very nice, very nice, by the way.

san francisco has lost a culinary giant, charles fan. the owner of the iconic slanted door restaurant has died. today, his friends and colleagues credit him with helping change the landscape of the bay area food scene. here's nbc's sergio quintana. no soy dressing. for nearly 30 years, chef charles phan was an integral part of san francisco's famed food scene. most people knew him for the iconic slanted door restaurant he operated for years at the ferry building. for those who call him a friend. news of his death is crushing. you know, it's a really hard thing to kind of process. you know, charles was i mean, charles was so full of life. and this is just an absolute shock. fellow san francisco chef chris cosentino talked with me by video call from maui, where he's now opening a restaurant. he says chef phan became a mentor and friend over the years. charles was always there. he was there when disaster struck. he was there if you needed help. he was there. if you were walking broke down, he was there if you needed advice on a contract. th
