this is a 1500 acre park here in san francisco.st was first established back in 1996 when republicans controlled congress. it was done by speaker pelosi. and that's what established the trust. it has a seven member board that oversees it. six are appointed by the president, one is appointed by the secretary of the interior. now, president trump signed an executive order last night as part of his efforts to slim and trim the us federal government. the order commencing the reduction of the federal bureaucracy says it's going to get rid of things that are unnecessary. and he is named the presidio trust as that the trust oversees the park. and so the president, feeling that it is no longer needed, the directors of the presidio trust have two weeks to send a letter back to washington saying they have received the order and understand it, and confirming that the presidio trust will be dissolved. state senator scott wiener says the president is on dubious legal ground. we'll talk more about that and hear what experts have to say about thi
