a car fire in a parking garage at san francisco international airport temporarily closed that garage r a short time this morning. his fire started about 6 30 in the morning on level four of the domestic hourly parking garage. eight cars were damaged by this fire, the driver of the car that caught on fire was treated at the scene for difficulty breathing and then was released. the garage has since reopened and there was no impact either the terminals or two flights. water will soon cost more for hundreds of thousands of customers in alameda and contra costa counties. just a few minutes ago, the east bay municipal utilities district born east bay mud voted to increase rates. it's a 4% rate hike starting july 1st and another 4% increase next year. the revenue generated will be used for capital improvements, such as. replacing old water pipelines and pumps and work on water treatment plants. east bay mud says, though, that this increase is not due to the drought. the, uh planned rate increase is essentially are 4% of 4% both on the water side and on the wastewater side. i would like to no
