san francisco and all the area going more than a month without any rain. here we go on futurecast. you see plenty sunshine as we head through today. checking daytime highs, 66 in san francisco. for the peninsula, 68, 67 napa this afternoon. the seven-day forecast, plenty sunshine san francisco, oakland, san jose, still above average for the end of our work week into the start of our weekend and much cooler sunday into next week. inland east bay, north bay, and the coast, above average daytime highs friday and saturday and then we are looking at cooler temperatures next week. how are the roadways out there? >>> good morning. looking really good if you are up early getting ready to head out and take any bay area bridges, everything is really quiet. a good time to be on the freeways. there are no metering lights this morning and so far traffic is moving nicely as you head into the city. if you are taking the golden gate bridge, pretty easy also south 101 out of marin, seeing nice speeds now. if you are headed across the span into the city things are moving at the limit and san mateo bridge has been quiet between 880 and 101. a good start for the bridges. here is a look at travel times. richmond
