we're seeing some of the heavier showers moving through san francisco, the peninsula, and now into thet bay. we're tracking it all with stormranger, our mobile doppler radar, seeing some of the bright reds and yellows. it's getting lighter for parts of the north bay, about to taper off for santa rosa. a few more minutes in napa. we're seeing some of the heavier rain moving through the east bay, through union city, toward the tri-valley. also around fremont as well. where it's really been dumping down is the peninsula and this is where we may have higher rainfall totals extending toward san mateo and woodside. and for san jose, it's a lot lighter but starting to pick up quite a bit in morgan hill and gilroy. we are going to see more waves of rain coming through but the heaviest moving through right now. as we go toward 9:00 to 10:00, we start to see it lightening up for most of us. notice these spotty showers that may still linger into today. but even as we go into tonight it's going to stay mostly cloudy. the rain really doesn't completely leave the bay area. by tomorrow at noon there
