right now is reaching through the central bay area, south of the golden gate, south of san francisco, down on the peninsula san mateo, redwood city getting some downpours right now, the rain has just moved ouof half moon bay. at least the heavier rain over the east bay. steady downpours now near fremont and up toward livermore, dublin, san ramon but again, some areas right now are not getting much rain at all from this system. it is a level one storm. as you mentioned, the exclusive abc seven storm impact scale through tonight. we expect more periods of showers, some brief downpours, gusty wind, rough surf. although the surf is getting tamer now and a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm. but look at the forecast animation as we go into the evening hours. notice how the showers become more widespread and they diminish in intensity by 1030 11:00 tonight, we'll just have a few spotty showers around, but those spotty showers will continue to fall overnight and into the day tomorrow. frost advisory will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the north bay overnight. it will be quite cold with temperatures
