but even without a citation from the san francisco police department, there were multiple communications of different types. email, written correspondence and personal meetings between the appellant and the permits unit of the san francisco police department. so, he was certainly well on notice even before the revocation issued. he acknowledges ample notice for the hearing itself. and i think that's right. he was there. he had the opportunity to be heard, which is the second prong of due process. the appellant himself as i mentioned adduced his own evidence. took the stand multiple times throughout the hearing and the hearing officer considered each piece of evidence submitted by both sides of the process. the decision was written, substantive in character and issued timely. so, for each of those reasons, the police department does oh poise the appeal and does believe -- oppose the appeal and does believe particularly in light of ongoing complaints continued to be received, we are more concerned for the victims of these offenses and we do believe that the revocation was properly decided.

san jose home on houston avenue this week. he left behind a note threatening to kill people including police officers in san francisco. >>> we havegation of the youtube shooting in san bruno. san bruno police say that nasim aghdam legally purchased the handgun she used january 16 from a gun dealer in san diego. it was apparently the first gun that she owned. investigators say that she took at least two ammunition magazines with her to the youtube headquarters and fired the nine millimeter smith & wesson pistol until it was empty. at that point she reloaded and continued shooting before turning the gun on herself. as for the shooting victims who were injured, one of the three people shot and wounded is still in the hospital. a 36-year-old man arrived at the general hospital in critical condition but has now been upgraded from serious to fair condition. >>> at a sacramento town hall last night, harris says that her heart breaks for the officer involved shooting that killed a local man. senator harris touted training for law enforcement to counter implicit bias. she pointed to her efforts as the california attorney general to train
