have been really trying to put the alert out about this storm coming up this week, san francisco's public utilities commission is already preparing low lying areas around the city, and crews are out clearing out as many catch basins as they can before the rain arise, trying to prevent debris build up from clogging those drains and leading to flooding. we have deployed are back on trucks. which of these heavy duty trucks that go into the storm drains and suck up. kind of debris below the surface for the rest of the week. it's an all hands on deck situation with department of public works and public utility crews ready to respond as needed, as the rain comes. we're keeping it a. close mind to all the areas that have typically experienced flooding the low line years in the city that just by top a graphical means that they are more prone to flooding. so we have people to play to those areas. we're gonna have the hvac contract's up doing the best work to get all that heavy debris up before the rains hit. yeah these i mean, this is this is kind of like that stuff you see? list for mary ellen carroll, executive dire

we're collaborating with the san francisco public utilities commission. next slide. going to share briefly the kind of planning work that we're involved with now. what kinds of actions can we take to reduce seismic and flood risk. so we're looking at a range of seismic measures. we have a very strong engineering team that has started the concept design of different approaches. as you see in the seismic measures table, there's a top row, shoreline stabilization. if we want to eliminate the expanding, a new seawall. that would involve creating new land along the embarcadera. similar concept, a land side doing ground improvement in the embarcadera to create a stable shoreline. we're looking at targeted measures, retrofit as a way of reducing the seismic risk exposure. for each we have cost estimates, impact analysis and looking at adaptation for sea level rise. and this is going to be significantly disruptive work, it could end up in a position of having to close the northbound lanes of the embarcadera and reroute traffic. so in our -- minimizing seismic risk along the
