and these were all put up by the san francisco public utilities commission just this morning. this is a low-lying area of the city that is prone to flooding, and of course, raj, you mentioned it. but this triggers bad memories, especially for folks in this area. you may remember the area got hit really hard. those new year's day storms last year. crews are out inspecting storm drains and clearing them all night across the city. so they're out and about. meantime, on the pg&e side, they say they're not expecting widespread impact from this storm. they're mostly looking at wind gusts and say they don't believe the wind gusts are going to be enough that they have to take any extra measures. but the spokesperson did say that they are ready should emergencies pop up. we did talk to a business down the road here that says they are a little concerned about this weekend after last year. they got sandbags out, and by the way, sf public works says that they will have sandbags out and ready for you to pick up from 8:00 to 2:00 p.m. tomorrow. raj, back to you. >> dry for now where gia van

the san francisco public utility commission which operate the water department arrived soon after and served as the lead response agency given the cause of the sink hole. after the leaking pipe was shut down, the crews made temporary repairs so the road could be reopened. we dispatched engineers to access whether the damage extended beyond the sink hole. at this point all looks good. the puc has not asked for aadditional assistance and will over see the water pipe and road repairs. and lastly, i wanted to note that this saturday we will be kicking off our 2024 season of love our city neighborhood beautification days. these are volunteer events with morning of greening and cleaning projects in the richmond. elementary at 18th avenue and cabrillo and head to project sites. last year volunteers contributed 3290 hours of their time planting trees, weeding medians, clearing off invasive ivy from hillside, removing gufreety, picking up litter, painting street furchture. the events bring people of all ages with lots of multigenerational families in the mix. one great thing about neighborhood
