this is to park merced and san francisco state university. this is in the middle of the avenue. this moves us into the stock that would provide greater access for the residents of the park and greater safety for all of the user's including san francisco state. this would create a very important linkage that is missing in our transportation system in this side of the city. there are other advantages not only providing for stops that you can get off the new system but also the opportunities to create a landscaped front door to the city right here on 19th avenue. we also will be providing a zero to low emissions shuttle bus that will provide access from this unique and the bus stops that we are providing at the northern edge directly to the daily city parks station. this connects directly to the part. this is a very important linkage. in the interim, we will be using the same shuttle best -- shuttle bus. as was mentioned, this is a long-term project which took approximately 20 years to complete but we know the estimates that we have given you are actually conservative ones. we see

i graduated from san francisco state and it was creative writing within the english department. i was taking a class much like this. writers on writing and a writer came to speak to a group of young writers the first writer who came was a poet. and i was i fell madly in love with language. i think that's why i'm probably conscious with the writing process because i began with the foundation of language, which is poetry for me. it made me aware of how to use language. not to over use language. you know things like that that aspects of it. i talk a lot about the writing process for a lot of reasons because i think that if you tell what it really means to be a writer people will think oh , it's not -- i think to a large extent you all think we run with the bulls. you know and you think we are sitting in cafes and i can never write in a cafe because i would watch people too much. how can you sit in a cafe and write a novel? we all have our process. i think the interesting things to talk about is the process how you do it because we all do it differently. i don't run with the bulls o

[laughter] i ask this of my students every semester. how many of you have sexual intercourse before age 17? in my state, you are convicted felons. right? so i tell my students, i tell them that i'm going to take my university's 15,000, and going to take my students, and we're going to march down to the police station, and they are all going to confess to having sexual intercourse before age 18. my point is there is no escape anymore. it is not just a criminal records. i really feel sorry for our children and grandchildren. we are telling -- felonizing recreational drugs, felonziinizg recreational sex. i go into prisons, and in interviewing lesbian women who are 19 and 20 years old who get 20 years for having sex with a 17 year-old. she's 19, she 17, she got 20 years. that is what is coming to. in this country now with mandatory minimums, with these damned sex loss -- sex is illegal, guys. next, they are going to start arresting
