people do have been following the efforts might recall that the san francisco police department and the mayor's office released a report on the state of community policing. that report laid out a strategy for the city and county of san francisco and outlined specific things that needed to to happen. that report confirms that the san francisco police department embraces the community policing philosophy and is committed to expanding best practices. the report defines this is not only as a policing philosophy that emphasizes problem-solving. at the time that the report was released, there was a director of community policing that was going to implement 44 new foot patrols and this would create an extensive training programs throughout the city. the report indicated that the mayor's office is going to solicit technical assistance from national experts. the purpose is to have a discussion about where those efforts are today. which one of those strategies have been implemented and the report being followed. community policing maintains safe communities. this has become the benchmark of policing within the san francisco police department

san francisco. southbound 19th avenue, right around holloway, pretty close to san francisco state, there was an accident there. a couple of members of the kcbs phone force telling us that all three lanes southbound are blocked right now so traffic is stacking up as you head out of the stonestown area. also, if you are crossing the antioch bridge northbound 160 after the toll plaza another rollover crash there, car on the roof. sounds like everything is cleared to the right shoulder. once you come through antioch, just seeing our usual brake lights there as you approach a street. altamont pass looks good okay for this time of the morning almost 20 minutes between 205 towards 680 and the dublin interchange. a quick look outside a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza, where traffic is still very light this morning. they typically turn the metering lights on any moment now so we'll have to wait and see. still looks good up the incline towards the "s" curve. chopper 5 is heading to the scene, by the way, of that rollover crash in san francisco. so we may have some live pictures here coming up shortly. also
