we are just off of holloway on the campus of san francisco state university. we do have actual video of the pursuit. we can show that to you now. it's all started just after 2:00 this morning. near the south of market area san francisco police found this stolen cab. the driver took off leading officers on a short chase through surface streets in the city. the suspect then got on southbound highway 280 and the california highway patrol took over the chase which speeds reached about 100 miles an hour. the driver of the stolen cab eventually ended up on the campus of san francisco state university where he actually jumped out of the cab while it was still in drive and still moving and then he took off on foot and the cab rolled into a metal pole which is a traffic barrier. >> see this taxi cab roll up and this guy jumps out of it even before it stops and slams into a parking post here. soon enough, a cop pulls up behind him. he jumps out and they both start running. >> reporter: police are still looking for the suspect. he is still at-large. the stolen cab again w

i'm a student from the san francisco state university. i just want to make a comment that it was very moving and it was a hard touching moment for me today to witness the board presenting an award to pastor roads for his achievements in the community. it was very inspiring and motivating. and i just think that we should be able to find such people in throughout the community, throughout the city to present such award to ward them for their lifetime achievements to the community. they really make the community better as a whole and i know that the more you probably present such award to more people it's less prestigious of an award maybe but i'm sure there are people that have contributed very much to many profound changes to the community and they should be, i believe they should be awarded as well. it really inspires. as you can see pastor had a lot of family here in the crowd. i'm sure that made him really happy. i don't know him but i'm really happy and it just really motivates one to just have a different outlook on life and possibly

since the last budget we were able to obtain $81,000 and san francisco state university and general properties of the galleria. we anticipate spending about $63661 for the grant activity. in august of 2012 we were able to obtain a grant for $1.5 million. we will increase federal revenues and decrease other revenues by $251, 892 dollars. next we have the project, we are experiencing a total amount of $91,000 for next year. during the year we were able to obtain $434, 531. the treasure island mobility mansion, the item you just heard before, this item, we received a $500,000 federal grant from mtc. we will be spending approximately $64, 101 this year. this is the largest budget announcement. we are recognized $34.1 million revenues we'll be receiving from mtc. what happened is we anticipated this in the last fiscal year but do -- due to a lack of full completed analysis, we were not able to pay cal trans and not able to recognize that revenue. this year we anticipate we'll receive most of the invoices and anticipate receiving full complete invoices to recognize the full $34 million. in addition

i was able to go to san francisco state university because of the workers at girls 2000. now my mom wouldn't let college not an option but i have people on my back. and these girls have that now, but if they don't have the money, what are they going to do? and (inaudible) is telling me it's going to be okay, and deep down i don't know if we will be able to come back and have a program after april 31. and that's sad because school starts. like what are these girls going to do? some of them don't have money for school supplies or backpacks. they can't even go home and get a meal. and i am not being funny and not crying because i am pregnant, saying that pregnant people are emotional. this is real, and it hurts me to be at that office and not knowing if these girls can come and we may have to close our doors. i hope you guys take that into consideration. >> mike brown.
