i am the director of policy and planning for san francisco unified school district. i would like to first thank the strategy to all of the school staff and students and families to keep each other safe and from the community and to our city agencies and business community as you will see in the presentation. it has taken everyone to keep our students safe and in school. today's area of focus is testing masks ventilation. all of the things we have been doing is to make sure the schools stay open and in person during this new stage of the pandemic. first thing we will share is on the testing. it is a little bit updated. this was updated to the board of education on tuesday. just so you can get context we had administered nearly 5,000 rapid tests between sunday january 2 and sunday january 9. today we have on the power point it says 2200 test kits. we were able to district 4,000 home test kits to our classroom teachers, 9,977 color kits have been processed between january 3 and 9. 4,600 color pcr tests to school sites were delivered and distributed and more each week. we
