it's a great day for san francisco. i think often about the fact that one of the things that makes san francisco unique is that we can have a wonderful manufacturing company here making real products. tied to being the center of innovation. and they do it in a way that is very innovative. and here we are in a neighborhood that is a bustling neighborhood of technology and biotech with ucsf up the street. it's a pleasure to be a san franciscans in this day and age. in terms of our project, we are very excited about the fact that anchor represents the first major tenant and the kick-start to our mission rock project. to us it's the perfect partnership. we have been around a while, 1958. but that pales in comparison to anchor. 1896. as keith mentioned they are long-time partners with the giants back to candlestick park days. and anchor plaza was launched in 2010. and we won that year. and so we are going with a team that helps us win baseball games as well. this project is interesting in that it's about 20% of the total squ

this budget is being delivered as san francisco's economy is recovering, going, and moving in the right direction. and san franciscans are getting back to work. in fact, our unemployment rate has dropped, as you all know, from 9.5% in january of 2011 to an astounding 5.4% just last month. san francisco travel. as joe mentioned, i kind of wear three hats but i'm standing in the middle of my world. union square improvement districts and tremendous work that they are doing down here, joe dell sandero with travel and of course due to mayor lee's efforts it's a time for tourism and general manager in this city. thank you. visitors information center. it was a freudian slip because it improved tremendously and it couldn't be in greater location. so all the visitors that come to san francisco from the airport stop right there and come here for information on things to do in the city. it's tremendous for me to be the general manager because i have concierge but the volunteers and the people here are an extension of concierge and giving information for all the visitors that come in and make this a world class city and really visit all the areas, the restaurants, the attractions and everything else this city has to offer. i want to thank again san francisco travel because they are the ones who market

during the time that i served on the san francisco of san francisco redevelopment agency commission, there was a very active citizens advisory committee and the bayview hunters point and the controversy area of the shipyard and to have voices from the community, that were active in that committee and come from different parts of that neighborhood, with difference of opinions, but also the ability for them to come together and put together a plan for the community was really important, as well as their push to make sure that the residents of the bayview hunters point community were hired in many of these job opportunities. now that redevelopment is no longer in existence, it is important that we take on the leadership and make sure that there are community groups that are able to provide us with insight on how we move forward? whether it's decision as round planning or whether it's decisions around what we do with workforce development and what have you? so again, i want to commend you on your leadership moving the community forward in this regard and i look forward to the final versi
