i have never worked on the practicals for san francisco. i had one project in my career for plan nothing 2015 regarding the bayshore station that was ended as it began. make clear i don't have an ownership stake in my employer. i have no stake not an officer of the corporation. the -- work this is doing is on research and analysis supporting the racial framework for the housing element. i was careful to make sure i was discovering whether or not there were conflicts the contracts the scopes of work and the budgets are set. these are on track to likely be wrapped up the end of this year. and my understanding is this by the time the housing element will come forward to planning for a vote the contract should be wrap you'd up and no conflict of interest or likely need to recuse. i will check with the city attorney to make sure there are no conflicts this is brood guidance and as items come before planning the details will merit and so i want to check in. sounds like you get it. that's important stuff and then -- you and i did noted have this co

i went to san francisco state university. i did stay home and i helped my parents work throughout the summers to learn what it is that makes our community so special. after graduating i worked for an investment bank in hong kong for a few years before returning when my dad said he was retiring. he passed away a few years ago. after taking over the business we made this a little more accessible for visitors as well as residents of san francisco to visit. many of our teas were traditionally labeled only in chinese for the older generation. today of our tea drinkkers are quite young. it is easy to look on the website to view all of our products and fun to come in and look at the different varieties. they are able to explore what we source, premium teas from the providence and the delicious flavors. san francisco is a beautiful city to me as well as many of the residents and businesses here in chinatown. it is great for tourists to visit apsee how our community thrived through the years. this retail location is open daily. we have

i had to dress up. back in 1965 when the grateful dead came in existence, they really not only put san francisco on the they put the haight ashbury tyedye on the map and created music for everyone. mixing reggae, gospel and seoul, country everything they did represented a way to bring people together. and i think that is why so many people identify with their work. identify with their music. and feel so connected to this group. because there was always something for everyone. and some of you may have been arc live at the time. i was not arc live i like to drag brag about that. i saw so many of the photographs of them performing on haight ashbury primary nothing golden gate park. when you look at the crowds and the access of people, it was absolutely extraordinary. and what they were able to do, along with so many other iconic group in this community and this city, was to make magic happen and make us feel good about the time despite the challenges that existed. we remember the vietnam war and other things going of and in fact, jerry garcia privileged he was born and raised in this neighborhood. lived th

the primary thing is that i grew up here in san francisco and i'm serving in the city where i grew up. i transitioned to community training and i was able to build disaster resilient padre of volunteers and bringing us all the latest information so that we can be ready for a disaster. pride and loyalty are the heart of a firefighter. it's in the way we do our job from the very smallest thing from our everyday checks we do of our equipment. from the way that we treat each other and the community we come in contact with every day. and loyalty is to our own families is to the pride we have in this department. it's to the other members when we're out in a dangerous situation keeping each other safe. it goes throughout every aspect of being a firefighter. i'm really proud of the way our department approaches diversity, equity, and inclusion. i was hired in a class that had 45 people and 17 women. it was an accomplishment at the time, but there were many women that came before me that laid the ground work and i had to see it to be it. someone had to recruit me into this job. i didn't know i

i grew up in san francisco. my family did in the they came to the country as refugees from a long war. my father at the time was a medical student studying in greece and protested against the ethiopian government revoked his citizenship and lost everything. he and my mother came to san francisco to build a new life. when they came they believed in the american dream. through work and education you can do anything. my dad instead of being able to continue his work in medical school no credits transferred worked 30 years as a taxi driver and they sent us to catholic school. my family was religious and thought it was the best way for us to move forward. i did not agree with everything but i believed being a person for other, being of service and being the change you want to see in the world. i got my msw from berkeley and working to get folks off the street and into recovery and helping those who were incarcerated rebuild their lives. that's why i have done the work over 20 years it help make san francisco a better

my name is adrianazang and i was the former chair of the san francisco youth commission and i was the district seven appointee by supervisor melgar. it has been an absolute joy serving on the san francisco youth commission. for the past two years, i was the district 7 representative and to be honest, i still remember that very exact moment i received the e-mail in which then president norman yee appointed me and i screamed, i cried, i yelled to my parents that i got on the commission and to all of the supporters here, you might think i'm crazy, you're probably right but i know all of these commissioners here today can resonate with that sentiment. truly bias aside, this commission is the best youth commission in the world. i mean, it's a huge statement and i will back it up, don't worry. um, for the past five years alone, i can name so many achievements that have pushed san francisco towards a more just and equitable future. for example, mayor breed mentioned pre-muni for youth and the next thing is the 2020 ballot that lost by one percent and maybe we'll try again in the near future.

i went to san francisco state university. i did stay home and i helped my parents work throughout the summers to learn what it is that makes our community so special. after graduating i worked for an investment bank in hong kong for a few years before returning when my dad said he was retiring. he passed away a few years ago. after taking over the business we made this a little more accessible for visitors as well as residents of san francisco to visit. many of our teas were traditionally labeled only in chinese for the older generation. today of our tea drinkkers are quite young. it is easy to look on the website to view all of our products and fun to come in and look at the different varieties. they are able to explore what we source, premium teas from the providence and the delicious flavors. san francisco is a beautiful city to me as well as many of the residents and businesses here in chinatown. it is great for tourists to visit apsee how our community thrived through the years. this retail location is open daily. we have
