san ignacio and bernal avenue is the closest major intersection to where this all happened. us this all took place. two san jose police officers shot responding to a call last night. the suspect shot as well. it's far beyond this crime scene tape. so san jose police have closed off a large area near where this all happened. and so some of the people this morning, this car right in front of us, they're actually staying at an extended stay hotel that has been closed since last night. and when we heard one of the officers talking to the people who staying at that hotel, he said that that is where this shooting happened. and all of this happened last night. so it's beyond our view. and a little while we're going to try and move to another location so we can get a better vantage point of the scene where this happened. but this was around 1030 last night when san jose police responded to a call about some sort of disturbance call coming from that hotel. the a man that police described as a male suspect confronted them. and according to police, the man shot at the officers, hitting
