i was in san joaquin valley and we'll show you that in just a second. look at what is going on outside. from mount tamalpais. some of the clouds moving across san francisco. we have a thin layer of marine cooled air that is trying to take over the bay and into the north bay. temperatures are still in the 50s, even over to oakland and around half moon bay. low to mid-60s until you get to antioch at 72. stepping out around the monterey bay, upper 50s to near 60s as you head inland to gilroy. highlights, the heat, l continue inland. it will be cool at the coast. it will be warm inland tonight and we'll have mild temperatures and fog will return around the bay. it looks like the heat will break for all of us on sunday. here is a look at the fire danger, a new product we put together for you. it's low this morning, humidity is highest we don't have the winds right now. once the temperature winds come up and the temperatures come up and humidity drops down. you see the high fire danger will be to our east in the san joaquin valley. could get an isolated thunde

it was the breeze that helped cool but they are baking still in the sacramento valley and san joaquin valley and hills of oakland, a little bit of fog that is left over. you'll notice from another visible picture, not much left of the fog. hayward and oakland still patchy conditions but even sunshine at sfo. we're at 75 degrees in antioch. another hot day inland. in san francisco, looking a little brighter, 57 and 64 in redwood city. this morning, low clouds clearing early. it will be a warm day inland and fog and cooler temperatures on tap for tomorrow. here is the picture, you'll notice mount tam clearing out. palo alto and all the east bay except right around the bay. the fog is getting stripped away rather quickly, big dome of high pressure continues to edge up right along the shoreline. still hot in san diego, los angeles while we have the influence of our sea breeze for most of the bay area, but by tomorrow, everyone will enjoy cooler weather, although it hasn't been that warm. breezes will -- look at sacramento, 98. yesterday it was hundred. yosemite 96. tahoe asset record of 9

what we've seen from the california department of water resources for the sacramento river and the san joaquin water heads as well. so we are certainly not alone in this regard. we are seeing of course the decline in the snow pack which others are going to talk about much more later today, but the suggestion that somehow the snow would be replaced by increasing water rainfall in southern areas has not yet emerged. and so picture really does not look great. we have our two largest and most important waste water treatment plants, the hipurian and (inaudible) they treat waste water and 11 other cities and water using agent sis throughout the la area. those plants are located approximately 20 feet above mean sea level. the projections for sea level rise in the last itcc report ranged from about 9 to somewhere upward of 25. latest studies are indicating that the upper numbers are perhaps too conservative. so you can see the implications for the viability of those plants if we don't look at substantial modification. and again the science is increasingly telling us that when sea level rises, it doesn
