that leaves us sunny, 79 in downtown san jose. notice numbers going down about three to five degrees. we'll be at 83 in concord, one of my warmest. 81 in pleasanton and 69 in oakland. you can start to see changes coming our way, a cooler 59 in half moon bay, and dropping out of the 80s in the peninsula, 78 in redwood city, and 60 in daley city. a cold wind at your back will make 63 at the embarcadero feel like the 50s. area of high pressure that produced some of the warmest stretch of weather we had in 179 days, this is going to start to fade and weaken. the next change i'm really looking at here is this coast tal system from thursday into saturday. not only a dramatic drop in our temperatures, but yes, the possibility of showers coming your way. let's take a look at san francisco and you can see numbers down, way down by thursday, with clouds increasing. chance of scattered showers on thursday and friday. then we should dry out into sunday and also monday's forecast. for the inland valleys, notice this huge drop in temperatures.

these are findings for san jose, oakland and san francisco and the bay area ranks number six in short term particle pollution and rank tenth in the same kind of pollution that sticks around year round. 13th in ozone pollution which scientists say is a result of warmer temperatures. these rankings reflect what was happening back in 2014 and 2016. but you don't have to look that far back to see scientists have noticed this. you might remember the spare the air day last year and the really hot days we had in 2016 which scientists say were brought the second warmest temperatures in reported history. if you have heart disease, lung disease or asthma, then again your doctor has probably talked with you about the impact pollution is having on your health. there is some good news here the american lung association reports improvement since the last stay of the air report and says california has made strides in reducing pollution. i did post a link in my twitter feed to the actions that the lung association says you can take. but i also want to know what the air is like in your community, whet
