concord, 58, in palo alto, upper 50s san jose to morgan hill and right over to san francisco.e're right there at 56. now, if you're not here, but you're heading up to the sierra, a little dusting of snow. so be ready for winter conditions. we'll see anywhere from four to about eight inches at the very highest pass levels. so those conditions are going to be very slick and slippery on the 7-day forecast. this cannot come soon enough. sunshine saturday and sunday. temps in the 50s. we're dry on monday and then now what? looks to be another system next tuesday and wednesday. the long range models right now are kind of split on the overall result of what will happen next tuesday and wednesday. there's two different scenarios. one hits southern california and extremely hard. that would be, you know, really a horrible situation after the recent fires and the fire burn scars. the other one takes it towards us, maybe as a half inch to maybe 1.5in. but if the one, the southern california one ends up happening, it's showing 2 to 3in of rain down there. and this is next week. yeah, this

a lot less again as you head into san jose and morgan hill. ratures will be mild mid to upper 50s to start the day and high temperatures tomorrow, upper 50s to low 60s, san francisco to oakland, low to mid 60s around san jose southward. now notice the rain projection monday into tuesday. a lot different looking here, as you can see on the rain estimates 1 monday night to tuesday time frame as this frontal boundary passes through and in behind it colder air. look at all the snow in the sierra. we have snow levels close to 7 to 8000ft this weekend. by thursday, as low as 4000ft, which means the higher peaks around the bay area could get a dusting of snow as we pass the middle part of next week. so those rain chances ongoing. this is what the seven day should look like in february. daily rain chances. but boy, that rain will come down pretty hard i think into the tuesday morning commute and cooler temperatures, which means a lot of sierra snow and making up for that rain we missed out on over the last three weeks. as we move forward into next week

and then it's making its way just south of san jose to morgan hill and gilroy. we've also seen some off and on rain in the east bay. so in walnut creek in the next hour, expect the rain to return. and then the rest of the afternoon we're sunny and in the mid 50s. the weekend is clear. and then looking at the forecast for next week, it's just going to be cold in the early morning hours. and the next storm system arrives on wednesday. it's going to be a cold storm system as well, and may even bring the bay area some snow on some of our upper elevations, but definitely lots of snow for the sierra. let's talk about what to expect next week. after getting a nice boost this week to the sierra snowpack. there's more coming next week with the potential of getting about three to possibly 4 to 5ft of snow. so that's going to really increase the sierra snowpack even more as this next storm system comes in and it will be a cold one. we are going to see frosty conditions each morning for the north bay valleys. watch out for some freezing temperatures as we dip down to about

san jose picked up 4/10 of an inch of the wind gusts. man, the wind was just roaring yesterday and last night for some. sfo 56, pacifica, half moon bay, morgan hillan jose and clayton all between 40 and 56 miles per who 40s on the temps 150 there a couple of 50s sfo and also half moon bay. still a few bands kind of rotating through it says, you know, i'm not really done yet. and a lot of this is right off the san mateo coast right there, kind of moving in there and also down towards santa cruz. so there's still a couple little bands that have to finish up here before we can say we're done, and then we'll start to get some drier air in here and it will be a nicer weekend. i there's a frost and freeze warning for tomorrow, but there might be a lot of moisture there. but i think sunday monday no doubt are going to be much colder. the key is going to be what happens next wednesday, thursday and friday a couple. some forecast models are sending the storm track a little more south. others are saying nope, we'll keep it north right in marin, sonoma county and napa. so again, a lot of details to sort out between now and next wednesday. thursday. call me
