nbc's marianne favro reports from san jose. the suspect is a 56 year old san jose man. the device was discovered inside a cardboard box here at this business complex, and some people we talk with said they'd seen the man walking around this area in the past. hundreds of people forced to evacuate a chaotic scene july 3rd, as the san jose police department's bomb squad responded to a report of an explosive planted here, a call that all began when police say the suspect called the police department directly. that suspect, 56 year old felix ana, the suspect had called police to report that he had planted an ied at a business. when officers arrived at the location, they located a suspicious device. police say the improvised explosive device was found in a cardboard box in the complex. the bomb squad responded and handled the device, which is now being tested in a lab. officers later arrested ana in his car parked near aborn road. they did not find any other explosives in his vehicle. now investigators are looking into a possible motive. people who work in the area told us th

some tragic news involving the search for a 15 year old san jose boy in fresno county. tonight. eriff's dive team says they recovered a body at the bottom of the san joaquin river near fireball. investigators are still trying to confirm his identity, but they say it does match the description of the san jose teen reported missing yesterday. from what we understand, he went to get a ball that had fallen into the river. but deputies say the boy never came back. they say he did not know how to swim and was not wearing a life jacket. this is the third drowning this year in the san joaquin river. officials say it is super important to stay safe and aware and around the water. we head into the july 4th holiday weekend. new at 11 an arrest in the deadly drunk driving crash into an east san jose home. over the weekend, police arrested a woman who they say rammed her car into a two story house on sorge park place off mckee road. the crash happened early saturday morning. investigators say she was speeding when she lost control of her. subaru crossed over a center median, then veered into
