san jose. since february 11th, 11 days ago, we've had six otheri ic incidents of crime. >>> it was a tense day here the san jose state campus where a man carrying a knife was shot and killed by campus police. two officers opened fire after that man allegedly refused to drop his weapon and after a taser had no effect. it is believed to be the first time university officers have ever fired a gun at someone. the school was not put on lockdown and police have not yet released any details about the suspect's name or why he was allegedly wielding a knife. >>> crews worked late into the night repairing a broken water main in berkeley that flooded the streets and threatened homes there. the break happened around 4:00 yesterday afternoon near the intersection of california and parker street. less than half a mile from the cal campus. an east bay m.u.d. spokeswoman said customers lost water because of the break but that wasn't the residents' only concern. >> a little worrisome, i don't know how it will affect our water. >> you know, we're in a water crisis. >> yeah, we're in a drought. even though it's kind of ruining our drou
