san jose state held its fourth annual five-k run this past weekend. runners started near tower hall and looped twice around the san jose state university campus. water stations were available along the route and at the finish line a crowd of supporters congratulated all of the runners. the first two hundred participants that signed up for the run received a spartan five-k shirt to wear after they completed the five-k. at the san jose minetta international airport, at seven different hospitals and san jose state university. that is one reason why the fire department says this is not a good idea. reporting live in san jose marianne favro for "today in the bay." >>> 5:02. the numbers are in. it is a sizeable increase in drunk driving arrests on this memorial day weekend. from friday evening up until this morning, chp officers arrested more than 1100 people statewide for driving under the influence. this includes 61 arrests in santa clara county. that's about twice as many arrests from last year. officers also responded to two alcohol-related deadly crashes in the bay area. >>> los angeles police have arrested a 26-year-old man who they think is a person of interest in the stabbing death of an 11-year-old boy. police say the deadly attack happened yet morning at an apartment in west lake district. the boy died from his injuries. our l.a. station is reporting the man arrested for the crime is the boy's stepfather. he was taken to the hospital for treatment after suffering an injury to the shoulder. investig
