san jose state held its fourth annual five-k run this past weekend. runners started near tower hall and looped twice around the san jose state university campus. water stations were available along the route and at the finish line a crowd of supporters congratulated all of the runners. the first two hundred participants that signed up for the run received a spartan five-k shirt to wear after they completed the five-k. this morning san jose state can move forward with renovating spartan stadium. the board of trustees approved the project which calls for the construction of the vermeel walsh athletic complex. it will house new locker rooms, coach offices, a hall of fame and athletic training facilities. the stadium will receive a new entry plaza, ticket windows and concession stand. the project is privately funded. work is expected in time for the 2015 football season. >> less than 24 hours after landing super bowl 50 work will start this morning as the bay area gets ready for the monumental event. aside from the game held, a lot of things will be happening all over. the interactive fan exhibit is called the nfl experience. that will be in san francisco. all sorts of cool things. fans will love that. the big game will be at the levi stadium in santa clara. the bid committee working to improve bay area transportation which is always key when you have a game of such magnitude. >> all coming together now. >> endless parties, too. it's a massive bash. >> no doubt the committees ar
