chopper 5 still with us and they are heading out of san leandro showing us southbound traffic on 880hing marina heading towards 238. starting to get busy out there but so far we haven't really had a big hotspot. no big accidents to slow you down. a lot of cars. in fact, the metering lights were turned on earlier at the bay bridge than we have seen them turned on in several weeks. even several months from what i can remember. let's go to our maps show you where we actually had an earlier problem that's now cleared. this was southbound 880 approaching tennyson in hayward. kind of still a little slow in the area but the accident was quickly moved to the shoulder and if you are heading across the san mateo bridge westbound 92 is great in all direction between hayward and the peninsula. here's a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. the metering lights were turned on around 6:24 to be exact. so i haven't seen them turned on before 6:30 again in quite a while. so obviously a lot of people heading back to work this morning after a long holiday weekend. school now in session. so we definitely h
