fire fighters are now investigating what caused this fire reporting live in san leandro.a gauss ktvu. box two news. thank you. oakland firefighters they were investigating an arson. as the cause of a possible three small fires that broke out last night along interstate 5 80. it happened around six pm between 35th and coolidge avenue. video from twitter shows the flames near fruitvale avenue, just outside of the guardrail there, the fires were quickly put out and did not spread to nearby homes and road flares were found at the scene. last week, five homes were damaged in a much bigger fire in that same area fires may not be related. so this incident we were able to deem that this one was arson based upon the stuff that was found at the scene here tonight in the fire we had last week or on friday was that one is still under investigation as well. we've got multiple investigators working on that one. and that one still is under investigation. so they are two separate incidents. they just happen to be in close proximity to each other. there was no word yet if there are any su
