san leandro. the customers came out from wal- mart with bags of items, from there, the sergeant at the san leandro police department picks up the story. >> the suspect's start-- stopped behind this car, they got out and tried to rob them. a fight ensued. at some point a suspect pulled out a gun, some of the suspects took off, one of them was detained by the other victims. when police arrived they pulled him into custody. the victim suffered from gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition. >>jackie: one suspect is in custody, there could possibly be two or three other suspects. not only did it happen in a crowded parking lot with private security on staff, but also, san leandro police had several patrol cars in the parking lot during the time of the shooting. on top of the building there are security cameras. at least two, possibly three suspects are still on the list. >>mark: a mad dash for friday's savings. at this or wal-mart, just minutes after the store opened, a woman used pepper spray to keep of a fellow shoppers. workers are forced to evacuate a part of the store

rob roth is live now in san leandro with the images of the second suspect police are now looking for,rob. >> reporter: julie we're in the wal-mart parking lot where the black friday shooting occurred. now san leandro police released surveillance video taken by that surveillance cameras before and after the victim was shot. >> if somebody does see him, please notify your local authorities, 911, but he is considered armed and dangerous. we do not want anyone to approach him. >> reporter: it happened just before 2:00 a.m. in the early hours of black friday. while it's hard to see exactly what happened from this store surveillance video, police say watson and three other people are in this buick rivi era. they drive to where they see three men all cousins walking to their car after leaving wal- mart. police say two men get out of the buick and approach the shoppers demanding money and the necklace. >> perceptions are different on what was said. it amounted to, hand over your property or we will shoot you. >> reporter: for some reason the two victims begin fighting with two of the assailan

there was already a san leandro police officer or two of them in the parking lot patrolling as well as walmart security guards. officers were flagged down. they called for help. the family member already detained one of the suspects. >> there was another person being restrained by a couple civilians. what we think happened is it was a robbery gone bad. the victims family fought with the robbers. >> reporter: now that person was taken to san leandro police station. police don't know if that person was the actual shooter or if it was somebody else. we had a witness we spoke to. she heard two groups of people arguing. the shooter got in a red car and left. police are still talking to witnesses. i got an e-mail into walmart for a comment 37 i talked to a witness over the phone. she was inside the store and saw both groups of people arguing. reporting live until san leandro kraig debro. >>> a walmart store in arizona is back open after a thanksgiving day bomb scare. police officers evacuated the store near phoenix after an employee found a strange package inside the break room refrigerator.
