( james )the city of san francisco and bart police... are joining forces to try to clean up the civic center station. you can see the problem here in this viral video posted on youtube. it shows people openly injecting and smoking drugs in a bart station hallway. now more officers will be patroling... in and around civic center station. starting july 2nd, s-f-p-d will be adding nearly 300- patrol hours.... bart police will be adding another 80- hours. police will be joined by members of the city's homeless outreach... and street medicine team. chief bill scott says, officers will try to give addicts an alternative to jail.
