you're jamming up now out of san lorenzo, san leandro, and in toward hayward.re's a crash in union city at whipple road in the middle. two lanes. folks are getting by, including the hot lane. the toll lane has allowed traffic flow because caltrans does anticipate the continued build, which we see here. that will slow you getting south past the san mateo bridge. no major injuries, but there's still a lot of activity there.. vasco road showing a little bit of slowing here. there is a car fire eastbound, but it is a distraction for westbound coming in out of the altamont pass. that's for 580 pretty far out there. so that will be an issue, but not really so much for the main focus of our drive. it's adding a few minutes to that far east part of this drive, but then smooth in toward livermore and the dublin interchange. a note remember all weekend? starting tonight, we'll have that very critical rio vista bridge on highway 12 closed. it's a long workaround, so prepare to go south and around or up and around. if you have to make that crossing back to you. thanks, mik
