outside of a few clouds near alamosa and san luis valley we are clear across colorado. there is a cold front across the middle of the country. that's the front that's been impacting ohio and that rain delay last night in game seven was because of the shower activity associated with that front. front comes down into texas and then southern new mexico and at the end of the front there's off from the main flow in the atmosphere. what will happen over the next 24 to 48 hours is that low will move to the four corners, and it will spread much needed moisture over our state. for the mountains, light rain and snow likely from tomorrow night into saturday. locations above 10,000 feet could see 2 to 4 inches of snow. most of that accumulation will be during the day saturday. for the front range and eastern plains, light rain is possible. better chance of seeing rain saturday versus those of us in denver and certainly north towards fort collins. 68 for the high today. 70 tomorrow with sunshine. there's that small chance of rain saturday. and sunday 66 with mostly sunny skies. let'
