out of san martin. north of there to east dun. that's where the crash is over in the center divide. but it is causing some slow and go conditions as you work your way through there on the northbound 101 ride into morgan hill. so do plan for that if you are headed out the door. also we've got our slow and go conditions continuing. this is the usual stuff now as you head for that drive out of tracy into the altamont pass. starting right around mountain house. it's pretty much been steady for that flow from there all the way towards grant line. gets better past that point but just a heads-up once you head west of there, we do have an accident right around livermore avenue and that's over to the shoulder no delays though connecting on to 680 itself. your drive times, for 580 now 36 minutes 205 over to 680. the good news is if you are headed out the door and you plan on taking eastshore freeway, westbound highway 4 to the maze looking pretty good. highway 4 itself checking in with no trouble spots right now.

but look at the big drop down toward san martin and gilroy. the biggest cooldown through monterey bay, inland through the coyote valley. you saw the temperature drop by 5, almost 15 degrees. a lot of onshore breezes coming in right now. that will bring in the low clouds. you saw to the west of san francisco, good enough for some areas of drizzle or mist early in the morning around the peninsula, down the coast towards santa cruz as our morning begins with some areas of low clouds. temperatures in the 50s and highs tomorrow pretty much in line of what we're seeing outside today. low 80s around san jose. and look at the temperatures around gilroy. that's not too bad. 78 degrees. mid-80s around the tri-valley. still mid- to upper 80s as you head to pittsburgh. cooler, near 70s near oakland. inland temperatures from redwood city to palo alto, daly city. the downtown san francisco in the mid-60s. it's the ocean air conditioning running pretty strong. you saw the winds there, up to 15 to 20 miles per hour. you can see for the north bay, 70s and 80s.

let's jump right into it and some areas of fog developing around san martin.ong the coast lifted a little bit at half moon bay and petaluma down to two miles and we'll keep an eye on this as we head throug the morning commute. 32-mile-per-hour wind in fairfield and through the delta and north of the bay bridge we'll have those breezes, again, as we head throughout the day. that is going to keep us below average. we're starting off

over toward san martin. you should see some cooler temperatures in store for tomorrow. as you head over to antioch and pittsburg, upper 80s as opposed to low 90s. you may not notice that much of a cooldown, but technically cooler tomorrow. fremont, 78 degrees, and peninsula temperatures in the mid-70s for redwood city in palo alto, half moon bay cooled by the fog and all-day sea breeze. san francisco trending down a little bit in the searven-day forecast. next three days temperatures start to drop off a little bit. numbers in the low to mid-80s as the winds now aren't that dry wind out of the north but a southerly breeze which will bring in some patchy low clouds over the next couple of mornings. take a look at the west coast view here. all the orange you see there fading away a little bit until about late friday. breezy at times on the coast. that's going to lead to the cooling. as we head to this upcoming weeked. . you see the time stamp, fourth of july into monday. more orange and red that will lead to a warning trend and put us in temperatures that we think should b

san martin 92 degrees, concord 90 degrees. santa rosa 94. here's where the real fire danger is. any time we're seeing these dry kw conditions, we really take a look at humidity. we're below 30% especially during the first half of the day. the good news is around 7:00, 8:00, we start to get a boater recovery at least when it comes to the humidity. into the overnight hours, though, look what happens right around 11:00. we're still seeing pretty dry conditions up through clear lake. all in all, the winds right now still pretty gusty at times. areas near, you know, the gilroy area and up through santa rosa as well, 20, 30 plus mile per hour gusts at times. definitely not a good mix as you said, terry. we have dry conditions. now, as we push the time line forward into the overnight hours, monday morning it will start to get breezier. as we track that, we are expecting a pretty breezy monday overall. i'm going to have a closer look at that, how the air quality is doing, what you can expect in the workweek coming up in a few minutes. >> thanks so much. although there was no official fi

maybe near 90 in san martin tomorrow. antioch, brentwood, closer to 90. temperatures in the 70s. bay side temperatures around the peninsula at least, 70s and 80s. mid-60s. you can see that wind is still coming in from 15 to 20 miles an hour. temperatures in the mid-80s around santa rosa and napa. notice the trend here. speaking of the north bay, bit of a roller coaster ride back into the 90s as we head towards next weekend. but a little bit of cooling. this is interesting that time of year. that's going to kind of crank up the sea breeze a little bit more. and we'll see high pressure starting to build in as we head towards next weekend. that is the heat you are starting to see make a comeback there and should boost us well into the 90s. a break from that out of control air-conditioning coming from the ocean. mid-70s by next sunday. it may trend warmer than that. for now call for mid-90s next weekend after a breezy and cool next week. those temperatures continue to climb up. you see those numbers climbing up as we head towards next weekend. it is a reminder we're heading into augu

i'm now joined by san diego superintendent of schools, cindy martin. thank you for joining us. to our viewers what went into your decision to have your 100,000 students start the school year remotely. >> thank you, good morning. this is a really tough decision, speaking to the challenges we have and the decisions that we're making. i'm a life long educatoeducator many years in the classroom as a teacher, nobody knows how important it is for our schools to be open. when we made the decision, same with los angeles unified, we announced together, on march 13th, the closure of our schools for the health conditions of our community, and to flatten t ete on march 13th, we knew two things were important, and still important, we need a continuity of learning for the students and a continuity of meal and nutrition services because many of our most vulnerable youth rely on school, fist and foremost for the education and also for food and nutrition services. so when we close schools, we put our plans in place here in san diego unified school district to have that continuity of learning, d
