close to 80 in morgan hill and san martin. san francisco to oakland in the 70s during the day. now, one change for halloween will be increasing high clouds. might make for a beautiful sunrise around the bay area. then trending to partly cloudy skies heading towards trick-or-treat time, 6:00 through 9:00. take a jacket outside. 60s and 70s all the way through 6:00. then by 9:00, beginning to drop into those mid-50s around the north bay. so the first of the two rain chances coming will arrive on thursday. but this first system doesn't look like much, and it looks like it will mainly impact areas north of san francisco. expecting a few isolated showers at times right there towards thursday evening. a better chance comes as we head into the weekend. by late saturday, it looks like around 6:00 to 10:00, we'll see a chance of those showers moving on in. that may linger very early into sunday morning. now, this does have an atmospheric river component, but the big rain likely stays up on the north coast. for the bay area, best chances for measurable rainfall probably come in late satu

for this time of year, with upper 70s expected in novato and 79 expected in concord, low 80s in san martin today. tomorrow, notice these numbers going up a few degrees. napa headed for 82 degrees, we'll be in the low 70s in san francisco, and we'll see some upper 70s for hayward. 78 degrees in mountain view. then on wednesday, it gets even hotter, and we'll be cranking back up that ac once again as we head up for 93 degrees in morgan hill, and we'll reach a high of 90 in santa rosa on wednesday. but we also have this symptom approaching and we can see the rain that's just starting to enter the far northwestern corner of california, as it heads toward the north bay later on this afternoon, there's still a chance that there could be spotty light showers moving through. it just looks like a few sprinkles, maybe a few hundredths of an inch of rain. the rest of the bay area is staying mostly cloudy. after that, the heat will build as high pressure starts to develop across the region, and then it starts to fade fairly quickly. so the spike in temperatures don't last very long, and thens with 'ap

so, much warmer than yesterday, reaching 89 in novato and some upper 80s in san jose, 92 in san martin and even hotter tomorrow for the inland areas, reaching into the mid-90s and still pretty hot, as well, on friday. but we are expecting to cool down by the end of the weekend as we take a look at brentwood, reaching into the mid-90s, a little lower on sunday, but we get some real relief early next week when we start to see the storm system starting to make its way back to the bay area and possibly some rain for parts of the north bay with some areas especially farther to the north of us getting some heavier rainfall. and for the north bay, we're looking at mostly about a quarter inch of rain or less. i'm really not expecting much of us in the bay area to get much of a change in terms of rainfall amounts or a lot to measure here, but we will definitely have that cooldown. we're dealing with the high heat, the low humidity, and the extended fire danger or high fire danger as we go throughout the day and also going to see those rain chances next week. so, you may have already heard your

san martin will get a high of 80 degrees, with some upper 70s in livermore and in concord. now, notice that on wednesday it will be cooler, with mostly upper 60s, and it will be windy. that will be as a cold front moves across the bay area, with some rain very close by. as of now, it looks like it stays over the sierra and we'll be seeing if we can squeeze at least a few raindrops out of that system. other than that, it's dry throughout the rest of the week into next week as well. take a look at the change in our temperatures. in livermore we're in the upper 70s today and tomorrow, but then as that system drops in on wednesday, it's only going to be in the upper 60s. look at saturday's forecast. 63 degrees. what are you doing this weekend? make sure that you're dressed for some chillier weather, especially in the mornings. look at those morning lows for the inland areas. are you ready for upper 40s? we're going to start to see that starting thursday morning and highs in the 60s, while san francisco will see temperatures also cooling off quite a bit as well. >>> mike, you're

aptos, socal over to hollister, san martin and morgan hill. these lows are warmer than what we saw friday and saturday for a few 40s in the mountains, you might expect that no cold air. so this is just a lot of cloud cover and mild temps. series of these systems will continue to just march in here. if you're north is going to be cloudy with off and on rain. if you're south, probably a mix of sun and a lot of clouds. but i don't think this pattern is changing until probably next early next week. then it looks like we might get warm to hot again, but we'll deal with a lot of cloud cover. you can see look at that. now, these systems come in, they fall apart over us. but each one is producing a little bit of light rain. there'll be another one late sunday into monday. and you can see for us, not much santa rosa north, not too shabby. ukiah north impressed of an inch of rain up to an inch and a half and even redding, almost an inch of rain south of that little it's maybe just drizzle or light rain at best here, but a lot of cloud cover and then som

i will give a heads up here that on monday morning i'm seeing forecast lows around morgan hill, san martinllister of around 3132 on monday morning. dry air will be with us. that's why after we get some wind picking up on saturday night and sunday 18 in truckee and south lake tahoe and mammoth, there's your friday morning trifecta. remember i take out very little in taxes. so you get paid well. the higher clouds are favoring areas to the south of peninsula south bay, santa cruz mountains. and it's clear to the north, which is why it's so darn cold. it'll be a cool day, a cold morning, many, many 30s inland. we'll get a mix of sun and clouds, more sun north, more clouds south and temperatures are stuck there. going to be hard pressed to warm up this is cold for us for the end of october. this is cold 60s on the temps to upper 60s. then the wind will become a factor. saturday afternoon evening into early sunday. it's you know, it's the dreaded northeast wind. so fire concerns are always an issue. thankfully, though, it's not hot and we've had some rain. but this will be something to watch int
