san mateo county is now coming out against this plan. a couple of weeks ago we told you about this oakland international airport announced it's looking to change its name to san francisco bay oakland international airport. san francisco leaders say this would cause confusion among travelers. they're against it. san mateo county leaders now jumping on board, like supervisor dive pine. he said passengers could book a flight to oakland when they meant to fly to sfo. san mateo county leaders say the name change could cause economic harm for the local businesses. the vote on the oakland airport name change, by the way, is tomorrow. the port of oakland is in charge of this decision. >>> another big headline this evening. the big money congressional race is now heading for a recount. district 16 in san mateo and santa clara counties, congresswoman anna eshoo is retiring. the recount comes after two candidates ended up in a tie. former san jose mayor sam liccardo got the most votes, but evan low and joe simitian got exactly the same number of vot

banks says she reported the incident to the san mateo sheriff's office and obtained this restraining order. >> you don't have the right to come in my house. i've never invited you to my house. this is, you know, this is not okay. >> reporter: banks says it was the sheriff who upon questioning mendoza a week later let her in on what really happened that night. according to the sheriff's report, mendoza wrote an apology note that in part read, i shouldn't have opened your door and gone into bed with you. in the narrative, mendoza also agreed that having sex with someone who is too intoxicated to consent is rape. he was booked and charged with two felony counts of rape and sexual penetration with a foreign object. in november of last year, banks says she was ready to go to trial, but as she sat in this court, she was told the defendant was ready to enter a last-minute plea deal for false imprisonment, a charge she had never heard of before and wasn't even a sex crime. >> and i begged her to please not do this, that i was ready. i said i would rather lose on the stand than to let him get
