and still some action right around san mateo. at least showing up on the radar as well. so we're not 100% dry, but at least we're not talking about excessive rainfall just yet. here's what's headed our way. as you can see in the pacific, all that moisture streaming toward the bay area, and that will be the source of rainfall tomorrow morning. outside right now, temperatures in the upper 40s to the lower 50s. so no frost advisories, no freeze warnings. it's actually fairly mild compared to what it has been over the past week or so. here is the timing of the rainfall. this is tomorrow morning, 10:00 with the rainfall rates will definitely pick up, especially for the northern half of the bay area. this is 12:00. and then this particular forecast model wants to scale back on the action into the afternoon hours. we could still have some scattered rain, but in terms of the focus of the real heavy rainfall that might lift out of the area later in the day into saturday. but there's a lot more rain beyond saturday. and we'll talk more about that with your full update in a little

still, the rain falling in the san francisco and south san francisco, san mateo stretching across theyward, fremont and livermore to. but a lot more on the way this subtropical moisture just holds or whole lot of that moisture in the atmosphere. when you get that warm air and boy, it's going to pause a lot of it here in the bay area in the coming days tomorrow, you see that a real stream of moisture just really aiming much of northern california bringing that heavy rainfall on shore moving a little further to the north on sunday. i think the wettest of the 2 days will be saturday and then another round of some heavy rainfall as we

live outside right now, the san mateo bridge. you're looking at some wet conditions out there. it's got really windy on some of these bridges. got to be very careful driving along some of these bridges as we head through the next 24 hours. some very gusty winds expected out there, maybe 50 miles per hour. checking out the rain. well, it was just coming in sheets as we head toward the afternoon. you see those bands moving on shore right now. me heavier bands beginning to move in along the coastline right now at to make your way into san francisco along ocean beach, parts of sausalito, seeing some heavier bands rolling through there as well and into the rth bay. they sontinue to get pounded with some very heavy rainfall. this adding to some impressive totals, some of the mountains in the north bay this weekend over 9 inches of rain already and more to come with that in mind. a flood watches have been issued across the entire bay area. the ground is saturated. going to see some ponding, some minor flooding expected. also in the north bay, the series under flood advisory. we have s

we're going to add in sunday, taking us over an inch of rain in richmond, a third of an inch in san mateoree quarters of an inch san francisco. and you can see about a third of an inch in the far east bay. and this is monday, when the heavier rain moves in. we've got over three quarters of an inch in hayward. most of the activity, two and three inches up in the north bay. and then you can see the santa cruz mountains three quarters of an inch. so the winds will kick up as well. in fact, they're calm to get going. but by that two 4:00 time period, we've got the gusty winds 20 to 30 miles an hour, even close to 40 miles an hour right on through sunday. so first, a slug of moisture bringing mostly rain, then about a foot of snow in kirkwood. this takes us through next weekend. this is our five and six feet that we need for sure. and then back home right on through the next seven days. still looking at nearly six inches santa rosa, three and perhaps upwards of maybe four inches in san francisco and three inches in san jose. so still accumulating a lot of rainfall right on through next week. 6
